Affordable Education
Our low cost for tuition and room and board helps most students graduate debt-free! Several options make it even more affordable:
- Qualified students can take advantage of a limited number of scholarships and loans.
- Convenient on-campus jobs help over 2,500 students every year work through college.
- A special hourly work program helps students with financial needs take care of college expenses.
Ideal Size
PCC’s big enough for you to choose from a wide variety of opportunities, yet small enough to make you feel comfortable. There’s a friendly, caring, personable atmosphere with a close sense of community in student groups, residence hall prayer groups, and classes.
Spiritual Atmosphere
Regardless of your major, you can prepare for a life of service to God in an atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth. As a Bible-believing Christian college, PCC desires to keep Jesus Christ preeminent in every class and activity.
You’ll be welcome at Campus Church, the local church on campus, and you’ll have many opportunities to serve in both Campus Church and the community. About 900 students serve in student-led community Christian service ministries each week.
Diverse Student Body
Students come from every state, over 50 countries, and from all different backgrounds—including homeschooling. (Last year, over 1,300 homeschool students were enrolled.)
You’ll meet people like you and people totally different from you. And you’ll make some amazing friends along the way! PCC offers the friendly atmosphere you’d find at a smaller college alongside the academic opportunities you'd expect at a larger college.
Challenging Academics
Employers and graduate schools seek out PCC graduates because of their high ethical standard and strong reputation for excellence in knowledge and skills.
Qualified, experienced faculty members genuinely care about connecting with you and strive to prepare each student to serve the Lord as leaders in their fields.
PCC is accredited through the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).
Our bachelor’s in nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), and our bachelor’s in engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
Secure Campus
A sophisticated security system with a 24-hour patrol keeps the campus safe. In addition, each residence hall’s lobby attendant allows only authorized individuals to enter.
Campus Life
When you walk onto campus, you’ll notice a buzz of activity and a friendly spirit. There’s always something to do—whether you want to jump in and get involved in Christian Service, sports, drama, music, Mission Prayer Band, or just hanging out in the Common Grounds Café with your friends.
You’re not far from off–campus shopping, restaurants, and (of course) the beach. You can bring your own car, ride with friends, or take a weekend shuttle to nearby shopping for $2 round trip.
